Staff Iftar Dinner Reflection

Hello,

On Tuesday the 11th of May, Sirius College staff from MFC gathered at Taste of Thai in Broadmeadows and shared a meal at sunset, together, to signal the day's Ramadan fast ending. As a new staff member, I felt warmly welcomed to the event and it was a great opportunity for me, personally, to meet new staff and to share celebrations with many school members of the Islamic faith.

After a challenging 2020 year, the staff dinner was, truly, a nice return to some sense of normality and community. It was great to socialise with people at a time which is dear for many in our school community and to enjoy doing some of the things we could not do so easily in 2020.
